The Physicians are one of the five High Castes which make up the Gorean government. This is the caste of those who concern themselves with the healing arts. Surgeons, apothecaries, medical researchers and health practitioners are all members of this caste. Universally recognized as non-combatants during time of war.

The ultimate goal of this caste is to eventually have every city with their own caste system.  To eventually have no need for a main caste and leader, but for every city to have their own.  One that will handle their own matters with their healers within their own city.  Its an encouragement for all the healers to start up their own castes within their cities, even if at the time it consists of one person. 

 

 

The Registered Physicians Caste of Gor

 are those who take pride in their work and caste. 

 

We are made up of skilled physician's with varying specialties in order to service the needs of all Goreans. 

 

We offer healthcare, comfort and assistance to those who are injured, ailing,  and bring new life into this world. 

 

 We meet with other castes to share information as well as gain information. 

 

We are a family of Physicians with the same goals and rewards that come from this position of life we have chosen to take. 

 

We support each other, and each others ideas to better service our caste and communities as well as all of Gor. 

 

We are Physicians spread from one end of Gor to the other who maintain the houses we reside in, who manage clinics, pharmacies, and health care facilities. 

 

We are Physician's with families and friends that also require our attention and dedication as much as the caste itself. 

 

Physician's who tend to the needs of those within our cities, and who strive to better ourselves and the way we heal our patients. 

 

We are Physician's who help others who wish to learn the ways of our caste, offering information and guidance. 

 

We are Physician's who know our place and rights and always have the best interests of our patients in mind. 

 

We are Physician's who work hard, sometimes in the worst of conditions to treat patients with the best care we can. 

 

We are Physician's who know nothing is impossible, who know everyone has to start somewhere.  

 

We are Physician's who have proven ourselves over and over, who know the laws of our cities as well as this world. 

 

We are Physician's who respect those with opinions and those worthy of respect, we are also Physician's who will stand up for what we believe in. 

 

We are Physician's who believe those within the caste and coming into the caste should be welcomed and treated as we would like to be treated. 

 

In no way do we think we are better then any other. 

 

Together we unite as one force undertaking the position of healing, knowing that our skills are not only needed, but that we all have the ability to handle these needs.
